How do confetti cannons work?
Confetti cannons work by using energy from compressed air, which is stored in a metal cylinder at the bottom of the cannon. The air is released by turning a catch to undo the stopper that kept it in place, and surges through the cannon at speed, pushing the confetti out from the top of the tube.
Can confetti cannons be used indoors?
Yes! They can be used indoors or outdoors. Using confetti poppers indoors actually makes it easier to clean up because the confetti has less space to disperse and can quickly be swept up.
Are confetti cannons safe?
Yes! Confetti cannons are safe, provided they are used with care and according to instructions. It is important to ensure that the tube is held vertically so that nothing is directly below or above the cannon. Definitely do not aim the cannon at any living person or animal and make sure the bottom is not pointing towards your chest, belly, or feet. We recommend holding the cannon to the side of the body for safest use.
Confetti cannons are also much safer than fireworks because they are non-pyrotechnic. They are simply powered by compressed air.
What is the confetti made of?
The material of the confetti depends on the type of cannon.
Our Gender Reveal Party Poppers use a natural cornstarch-based powder, and 100% biodegradable pink and blue confetti. Our Biodegradable Party Poppers also use a multi color paper confetti that is great for outdoor use.
Our original Party Poppers use mylar, metallic confetti that has a beautiful sheen. It sparkles and creates a beautiful display of confetti. Our Streamer Party Poppers use a similar metallic material as well.
Our Wedding Party Poppers use a mix of white biodegradable paper confetti alongside metallic silver and gold confetti
